There is something at St Paul's nearly every day!

Our main act of worship is the Mass
We receive the body & blood:

Mass during the week is usually quite short, and usually no longer than half an hour. A short homily (sermon) is nearly always included.

On Tuesday & Fridays we often sing a hymn or two, but there aren’t usually any hymns on Wednesdays or Saturdays. The school mass takes place twice a term on Thursday mornings but parishioners are welcome to sit in (on other Thursdays the clergy conduct an assembly in school).

On Sundays, there is an 8.30 a.m. mass which is quiet and without hymns, whereas at 10.30 a.m. the whole St Paul’s family are encouraged to meet together for our main act of worship which is lively, and during which the mass is sung, incense is used, and a Sunday School (outside of school term-time) operates.

During special seasons, such as Advent, Christmastide, Lent, and Eastertide, some special arrangements do apply. Notices will be posted here and on the church noticeboard. But there is always a Sung Mass on Sundays at 10.30 a.m. Here’s the regular pattern, do be in touch by email or phone if  you are unsure and want to confirm.

8.30 a.m. Mass; 10.30 a.m. Sung Parish Mass with Sunday Schoolduring Lent there is also an evening Act of Worship, i.e. Stations of the Cross & Benediction
